baturjan
While in the Mall, I saw a booth selling invisibleSHIELD that protects electronics from scratches. http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/index.phpIt covers the screen or the entire device, like phones, iPods, etc. They sell prefabricated shields for all kinds portable devices. However, they will also cut out custom covers for any device, which got me thinking of my MD stuff. Yesterday, I took 3 minidisc units and two remotes to the Mall to have the invisibleSHIELD put on them. While you could cover the whole device, I only covered the screen part on each item. He charged me $5 dollars for each item (5 screens = $25), and $10 for the installation. I consider it a sweet deal for $35. It only took him 20 minutes too. Levanel
Covering the whole device would be nice, if only the MD unit didn't have a pop-out lid for accepting minidiscs. What they should do is custom make rugged materials to fit the units, rather than putting them in carry-on cases. That is, if you're paranoid about your greasy fingers handling them..
