zahne
i tried out my friend's hi-md player and found that for any disc, even regular mds the unit could not read them. i tried running an md cleaner but it wouldnt even play. the cleaner doesn't work unless you can at least start playing the 1st track and this unit won't even get that far. should i leave the cleaner in there regardless of the fact that it wont read? or is there something entirely different wrong with this unit? sound familiar to anyone? gopherbob
I wish I could help you out. I posted a very similar problem with my hi-md player (different model though). For some reason it has given up reading standard minidiscs completely. The motor just cranks up for awhile and gives a READ ERROR. But my model still plays and records hi-mds flawlessly. If you find a solution let me know!
