professional media library/cataloging software

I'm looking for media cataloging software. This is a partial list of wanted features. If I tried to be all inclusive this post might be difficult to read. It should have as many of the following features as possible (and more):

A client/server model that supports at least 2 simultaneous users.

Windows, Linux, and OS X clients--or have a web interface that compromises NONE of the functionality.

Catalog Music, keeping track of and being able to sort/browse/search by media format on top of the other usual criteria such as genre (should be able to label with multiple genres, too), artist name, album title, song title, etc.)

Catalog Video, similarly to Music

Catalog Books, physical and electronic

For physical media, check-in/check-out

Cover Art (with a thumbnail view while browsing/searching)

Bar codes (!!--almost forgot--I do have a scanner)

etc,etc

I guess I should ask some professional librarians. Anyway, just post some ideas here along with links, reviews, screenshots, trial versions, etc.
