The R-W!N8r
Maybe that's Sony's way of fixing??If it doesn't work, just remove it??

ad2006
Had exactly the same problem. I updated-was impressed as wasn't able to use artist link berfore. Then I had problems transfering songs. So I initalized my nwa1000-didn't work-deleted the library-as per sony's instructions and reimported my files. They all came back. Noticed that they didn't have the artist link. Doesn't look for info unless I import a new file/cd, as if it thinks the info is there so it doesn't have to look
Pulse
Thats strange, my artist link started to work after the upgrade, it didnt before .
ad2006
Sony suggests that if database is unstable to remove the folders in c:/documents and settings/all users etc. I have found that if you delete you tunes from connect itself and re-scan them in it will update the artist link.
