Hello, my brother bought an NW-A1000 a while back and has been loving it, I on the other hand have had nightmares with the connect player software being on the computer (since when is an mp3 player's software in danger of critical malfunctions and needs to have such a damn annoying update program). Anyways, I formatted the computer a while back and backed up my brother's music on his NW-A1000. Now, I can't get it off the player and he won't stop pestering me about it. Connect Player itself doesn't seem to have a transfer option back to the computer (go figure) so I did some searching and tried Sonic Stage 3.4 The Transfer page successfully reads the NW-A1000 and all of the tracks listed in, but when I try to transfer music from the player to the PC, I get "Cannot import this type of file to My Library." All files on the player are MP3 format. I figured that there might be some kind of copy protect and sicne I just formatted, well anyways I tried transferring an mp3 file from the computer to the player, that went successfully but trying to send the same file back gave the same error.
