Question

I had SS 3.3 and upgraded to 3.4. I started it and didn't even have my device connected and when I want to connect it SS gives me this message:

"SonicStage (00000452-9094)

The connected ATRAC audio device cannot be used with the currently installed SonicStage.

To use with the currently installed SonicStage, you must delete all traks in the ATRAC Audio device

or initialize the hard disk of the ATRAC Audio device

(Error Code: 000066a3)"

Anyone got a solution 4 it?!

I have used my player around 1year and never had this problem before.

I can't even delete all tracks cause the SS doesn't recognize the device, and cannot initialize it either 4 the same reason!

So PLZ if u have a solution help me!

Alternatively, if you can't do what Beehovenian suggested:

(1) if all the tracks on the HD1 are on your PC, access the HD1 menu right on the player itself and initialize on the unit - not by SonicStage

(2) if your tracks are not on the PC, connect your device to the computer. Locate the device drive in "My Computer". Copy all the contents to a folder you've set up on your PC hard drive. Initialize the device - on the device itself. Import your files to SonicStage from the folder you placed them in, and retransfer to the HD1.

Sucky... but pretty common with Sony toys.

You've probably downloaded SonicStage 3.4 from a different region than the previous version. Try to get the version from the same region as before.

This will not work now .Now He/She has to format his/her device again
