Poor Screen on the NW-A series

Hi,

Now the summer is finally starting to turn up, I have noticed that when I try and use either of my NW walkmans in sunlight, I can hardy see any of the writing on the screen anyone else have this problem? I love the Player but If I can't solve this I may have to go back to a sodding Ipod

It is b`coz A3000/1000 use OELD which is hard to see in Sunlight .

Yeah, that´s probably the only thing that pisses me off about my NW-A3000 :/

Agreed, heck i live in scotland where we dont even have sun and I cant see it when i take it outdoors on an overcast day.

The A1000/A3000 screens have problems with reflection and glare in bright sunlight particularly due to the curved surface which picks up light from everywhere.

Thankfully we're now into Autumn here.

The E400/500/A600 are easier to deal with as their display area is smaller & flatter making them able to be shielded with your hand.
