Single Album Play on HD-3

Rate this question

Question

Does anybody know how to play a single album only on the HD-3? According to the instructions, this should work if I set the play mode to "unit", set the mode to "album" and select the album from there.

When I do this, the player still continues on to the next alum.

My E507 will play an album at a time, which is nice.

It's a great feature for listening to music when going to sleep. With my HD3 full of music encoded at 105kbs, I could sleep for a week straight and wake up with the player still playing (assuming it was plugged into the wall :-).

Any tips on using this feature are appreciated.

Thanks!

Rich

As far as I know, you need to select the Play Unit mode and just go to the track list of an album. It's not necessary to be in album mode. When in Play Unit mode, it will play everything from the unit you're in. So, if what you're seeing is a track list, the "folder" (album, group etc.) of those tracks will be played entirely. If you're looking at a list of albums, all of those albums will be played. And so on.

If i`m able to understand you ..

To play one single album only in HD3 ..in play mode select "Play Unit" & select repeat on

You need to do a bit more.

Select 'Play Unit' mode.

press mode repeatedly to display the album list

press up/down keys to select the album you want

press right key to display the track list of that album

press play to start track 1 or press up/down keys to select the track you want to play

Select repeat on to play the whole album repeatedly non-stop.

Select repeat off to play ALL tracks in the album ONCE. Now the weird part (and to me this is most annoying) is that if you start play say at track 4, the player will rewind to track 1 at the end and stops at end of track 3. [This behaviour is the same as A1000.]

Thanks - your tip was dead on. When I play an album, I usuall hit play on the album title. I need to take the extra step of going into the album and pressing play on the first track in the album. And it doesn't matter what mode I'm in (artist, album, etc.).

Thanks again!!

i know that we need to select Album menu first .

But it`s nice to hear that your problem is solved .
