Cardstuntman
hi, I can't find my discs for my MiniDisc player / recorder. I have a Sony Walkman MZ-N707 and I want to start using it again. I have had it stored for a while. I have found everything for it but my CDs to load the software. what are my options. can I use another program. what do I need to do as far as extensions and such. it's been a few years since I did anything with this device. I would be most grateful for any help someone can offer. thanks Cards
Avrin
Your possibilities depend on your operating system. If you have a 32-bit version of Windows 2000, XP or Vista, then simply download and install SonicStage 4.3 "Ultimate" from http://forums.sonyin...showtopic=24405. If you have a 32-bit version of Windows 7, the program may also work, with or without problems. But if you have a 64-bit version of Windows, then your only chance is to use a virtual machine with a 32-bit version installed. And welcome to the forums! Cards 4.3 should be all you need, welcome back. Be careful with your 707 or any older MD's, they tend to wear the wiring to the record head, then you get random erasures, try finging an NH-700, you won't be disappointed Bob
