SI: Eat, Pray, Love With Julia Roberts Coming Late Summer

Eat, Pray, Love is the title of an upcoming film based on the memoir of the same name by American author Elizabeth Gilbert, co-written and directed by Ryan Murphy. It began filming in August 2009 and will be released in the USA courtesy of Sony Pictures on August 13th, 2010. Filming locations for the film include New York, Naples (Italy), Pataudi (India), and Bali (Indonesia).

Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having — a husband, a house, a successful career — yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self—discovery.
