Hi, thought i'd try sonicstage out instead of the connect player.

Sonicstage has recognised my nw-a1000 and loaded the tracks but the chinese characters on the tracks are being display as "?"

Tried tweaking the registry settings as said on one of the threads and it hasn't worked.

Any other solutions?

Thanks

Well, Sonicstage is not unicode compliant.

If you use winXP, download Applocale from microsoft. This allow you to run non-unicode programs under the language you specified without having to change the current windows regional setting.

oh ok, i'm downloading applocale now, will see if it works

Thanks for the info

[EDIT]

Doesn't work, still has the "?". Reason for change to sonicstage is because connect doesnt allow you to play tracks on device is they dont exists in your library.

[EDIT#2]

(O_O)!!! It worked!, i had to set the language to simplified chinese to display traditional chinese (funny) but who cares, it works!

They might add unicode Support in SS4 but blog page doesn`t say anything about this ..

We'll see about that. Sony USA still thinks kanji is the source of all evil, so I doubt it.
