All new Sony A/V receivers (ex. STR-DN510, 710, 1010..) have a DM-Port (Sony Digital Media port) that the press release states will support adapters like Bluetooth (ex. A2DP music streaming from your iPhone)
However, the required bluetooth adapter (TDM-BT1) is discontinued by Sony (called them and they said no plans to replace it).. it cannot be found for purchase anywhere on the internet.
So the only solution for iphone music is the clumbsy, old fashioned Iphone dock?? Surprising a new receiver would not support Bluetooth since this is clearly an easier/superior connection that most other receivers support. Anyone have more info on the elusive TDM-BT1?
