jemhill
Hi, I've just brought my old MDS-JE510 minidisc deck back into service after storing it a few years in the loft. Everything seems to work fine and the sound quality is as good as it ever was, but when I try to record a CD via the coaxial or toslink optical inputs the CD just records as one big track with no track numbers. The deck always used to mark the tracks automatically so this is very frustrating; if anybody has a fix for this I'd be grateful. Thanks
bluecrab
There is some information about track marking on Page 9 of the manual (Notes on Recording). If you do not have the manual, it is online here: http://www.minidisc.org/part_Sony_MDS-JE510+S38.html The 510 was more infamous for its self-turn-on problem than for anything like this. Good luck with that track-marking.
