Well, it didn't exactly crash, but it seized up and I couldn't stop, pause, play or navigate tracks and I couldn't shut down the player, I had to reset the wretched thing. The sound was just repeating like when a CD jams, so I suspect it might have been a mechanical error or something :S .
But I'm actually quite pleased because I've been using the player heavily ever since Christmas and I've had no problems with it, when compared to my friends iPods and Creative players which seem to crash all the time, so well done Sony for making a 'pretty' stable player.
