I was re-installing an fixed optical block on my old sony and one of the the last step was to re-connect the ground wires. Unfortunately, one of the ends of the ground wires broke off (with very little in the way of force I might add). I tried to re-attach it with some electrical tape to hold it in place, but I'm no techie and I have no idea if this will prevent the TV from functioning or cause it short and blow the whole thing.

Here are the instructions I was following - again I was re-assembling. http://sites.google....lockreplacement
Can anyone let me know if I should worry about this or would this likely be fine.?
