VAIO Pocket Shuffle Mode Question

Question

Okay,

I have a nice, new Pocket Vaio which seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes when I hit the repeat/suffle button, I com up with six choices and at other times I get eight....the extra two either two small cds with an arrow between them and the other shows a single cd with the word shuf next to it.

I assume one means to keep repeating from album to album and the other means to suffle and repeat the album, but can I not just do that with the repeat and shuffle option? There is nothing in the manual that relates to these extra icons.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Joe

Hiya,

As far as I understand it the modes available are play album, repeat album, play track, repeat track, shuffe tracks, shuffle tracks and repeat, play album then next album etc, finally play album and shuffle to a different album (not the next).

I personally like the last one but it can be a bit strange going from Led Zeppelin to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Hope this helps.

Delv,

Thanks. What I don't understand is why sometime the album options don't show up and sometimes they do. Whatever the case, my "new", fully-charged PV has been playing continously for 21 hours nonstop. It is good to know the battery life is as claimed - better actually.
