A3000 orange backlight on keys?

Hi. I've noticed that when i press the artist link button the backlight on the keys turns orange. is there any use to this becuase it seems to me that the buttons are disabled until the device chooses a song for you and then they fade back to white.

if they don't do anything, it seems sony are going for useless features more and more as they bring out new stuff..

lol, the orange looks so much better, i wish there was some way I could use it as the default colour.

the artist link is such a gimmick, the worst feature ever to ever be featured on any electronic product

No ,There is no way you can make it default colour .

That sucks, its about the only plus side of the artist link, for me at least.

I can't find it useful in anyway.

seriusly there is no hack for that?!? I think if you want it a lot you maybe can do something on circuit board... (I think its very possible, but very big time and nerves.)

Yup,I didn't find anything in the service manual to get orange backlight default .
