Help! Accidentally hacked a recording!

I'm hoping someone can help me undo an accidental hack.

I was using my MZ-RH910 to consolidate track marks. I pushed forward (instead of back), then pause and hit mark (rec) repeatedly. I thought this was a quick way to combine tracks. WRONG!!

Suddenly this section of my recording is playing at high speed. The speed feature is not part of the RH910 so I figure it's a hack. I've tried to reverse this with my MZ-RH1, which does have a speed feature. It didn't work. It's only one section of the recording. Any ideas on how to get back to the original recording speed??

All suggestions graciously accepted.
