REMOTES FOR NW-A3000

I have just ordered a RM-MC40ELK for my NW-A3000, anyone on here now if all the functions on it work.

I know this has been discussed before but I've trailed the boards and there seems to be some conflicting views.

I got the latest firmware, I just like the idea of keeping it my pocket and the 40ELK seems to be the best solution.

Anyone that has tried the combination of the NW-A3000 and the RM-MC40ELK please let me know.

Has nobody tried the two together? I can't believe that, I know that most remotes are inter changeable.

Hey thanks for the link, went through a few and I think I will be happy with the 40ELK as I can also use it with my MZ-NH700.

I phoned my local store today to see how the order was progressing, they said it would cost 110 euro, ok I thought as I've only seen it on an Amercan site for 89 dollars and I am led to believe the one I will be recieving has English instructions. Also any problems that may arise can be sorted much easier as it's local.

Well, I've had my 40ELK for a week now, and of course its fully functional with my MZ-NH700,

it works well with my NW-A3000 giving me artist name etc.

I would not advise getting the 40ELK just for the A3000 (the scroll IS useless), but I enjoy it as I download a lot of stuff, put it on player and listen later, I can then see who I'm listening to without the need of getting player out my pocket.

All in All a fine remote if you can use it with more than one of your sony music players, otherwise an expensive luxery.
