george150666
Hello I am a longstanding minidisk user. I have a number of Vivanco EM 35 microphones which I use to record lectures and sermons onto my Sony MZ-NH900. A few weeks ago I purchased a Vivanco EM 216 microphone. I have used it twice. It seems to have recorded satisfactorily. However, when I attempt to play the recordings into my audio editor on my laptop using a Logik 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable no sound comes through. I have no such problems when playing in recordings made using my Vivanco EM 35 microphones. Can anyone help? Thank you. George
Ral-Clan
Without a lot more information about your process (equipment, how you are hooking things up, what ports/connections are being used at either end, software, etc.) it will be difficult for anyone to comment on your problem. It doesn't seem that the type of mic used should affect the ability to play back a recording into a computer. Especially if you can actually hear the recording played back via the MD's headphone jack.
george150666
Hello Rai-Clan, thanks for your reply. Can anyone recommend a good lapel microphone to use with the Sony MZ-NH900 to make audio recordings of lectures / sermons? I have been using the Vivanco EM35. However, it seems to be out of production. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you. George
