0 lamewing Posted July 8, 2006 Report Share Posted July 8, 2006 get applocale from microsoft. Use applocale to run Sonicstage, this whay you can transfer the songs with the correct language. The HD5 will display Japanese kana, and kanji. It will only display the Chinese that is also used in kanji. Hangul will not display at all.Do a search here or minidisc.org for more details. 0 dsb Posted July 12, 2006 Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 HD5 cannot display Chinese fonts, you can use Japanese Kanji to mimic Chinese fonts, but it is not a real rolution.HD5 has two versions with different size of EEPROM inside, check service manual, you will find Chinese version of HD5 has two more chips on board.
