VAIO music transfer won't start [Problem Solved]

Hi,

I recently bought a NW E005S, nice thing, and installed SS 4.0. Quite a lot of SW just for copying mp3 files to the device. Since I use Media Monkey for managing my mp3 songs I looked for an alternative and found Vaio music tranfer, V1.2.

However, after installing I only get the message "An error occured while initializing. Reinstall Vaio music transfer", nothing more happens. Not worth mentioning that reinstallation doesn't change anything.

I studied a lot of threads here but only found one user mentioning the same problem, without answer...

Has anybody an idea? - I use Windows XP Pro SP2

Well, after playing around a while I found out that it's not enough to just install VAIO music transfer. At least the OpenMG Security Module (taken from the original Sonic Stage CD) is necessary. Maybe also PA_driver.exe which I couldn't deinstall to verify that. I didn't find out wether the OpenMG Limited Patch is also necessary, things work without for the time being.

However, now I stop playing around and listen to the music...

PS: MP3 file Manager can not transfer mp3 files properly to an E005 device (the files are ok, but the directory isn't), however it works for deleting files and to check what is stored already.

enjoy
