We just had our new 55" Bravia Sony TV installed today. I think we made a big mistake. The screen is too large. Some shows that don't fill the screen (have black bars around all sides) are okay. Is there a way to reduce picture size so it doesn't take up the full screen? Probably we should return the TV for a smaller screen size model. We couldn't get a Sony 50" in the Bravia. It will cost about $300 to exchange the set with delivery and set up charges (not figuring any difference in price). Would rather push a button and reduce the picture size (if possible).
