hello peoples i just got a NW-E005 yesterday and it is my first time using sutch a device.

i found thease forums wile trying to search for a problem i am having with sonicstage. i started inporting from many CD's and puting my fav tracks into one album in my library untill i was finaly ready to transfer. yet when i transfer onto me E005 i have 2 albums with teh same name instead of just teh one like in my library, teh tracks are split between them. so i ask is ther any way to stop this hapning?

Hey h3xta,

Welcome to ATRACLife Colloquium. Hope you enjoy your stay :)

Did you CDDB for the song titles or did you input them manually? If you CDDBed for them, check to make sure that they had made the title the same. For example, "The One" and "The One " (a space after the last word) yields two different albums. When you rip, it'll all be in the same directory, but when you transfer it, the player takes those as two separate albums.

anyway, hope that solves your problem.

hey thanks for teh welcome and advice aznbro

i did type in teh names manually as i imported them from cd and as they wer correct in my library they would only split into difrent albums after transfering them to my player. i did tho manage to notice that it was only tracks from one CD that was doing this, so i delted it from my library and imported it again and in turn transferd it to my player with teh same title as the rest and teh 2nd time round it workd :D

so in future if it happends again i will try deleting and importing teh ofending CD again as it seams thats what fixed it this time.

to bad it took me all day to figger it out lol i think i have teh hang ov it now tho :clover:
