NW-A3000 & SonicStage CP 4.0

Hi, I'm here because I have a problem.

When I click on the SonicStage icon I get this

It says my database has changed due to a systen change and needs to be authenticated

Then I get this

'Click ok to close sonicstage and launch system information restore tool.

Then I get this

This one says it cannot connect to internet.

Its a BB connection, on all of the time.

and thats it, the programme will not launch.

Any ideas welcome.

Me too! I posted the same problem in the software forum, but I thought it might be down to me using Windows Vista Beta 2, but it seems that you're using XP...hmm... Haven't managed to find a solution yet but will keep trying!

If you have got a backup of your music library, have you tried using the SS backup tool to restore it?

I think the utility in the screenshots only runs when your library is corrupted (and no, I could not get it to work either, but a database restore solved the problem I was having at the time).

I don't get why Sony is offering SSCP 4 instead of Connect now. Connect is a piece of crap. But SSCP is even worse, I think. When I transfer songs to my A3000 it doesn't refresh so I have to close it and reopne the program.

Also, it crashes more often than it works. I'm just happy Connect works on my machine otherwise my A3000 would have been useless. Wish the MP3 File Manager for the flash-based players would work for A3000 too.
