Andrew12345 Posted June 21, 2020 Report Share Posted June 21, 2020 I have a Sony MZ-R501, whilst playing the drive stops after a random length of time, a constant whirling sound occurs, play resumes after a random length of time. This fault also occurs when I press track forward. I have done a video of this. During the last few years the fault has got worse, the player has been used occasionally.
