I cannot believe SSCP 4.0 adheres Copy Controlled standard!

Recently using SSCP 4.0. As many poster have been said, SS4 is faster, more reliable and does not take much resources as its previous versions do.

But it have some serious drawbacks. Recently i bought a 2 CD version of Delerium - Chimera. It equipped with copy controlled protection. I started my ripping routines : CD to WAV via Windows Media Player 11, CD to AAC via iTunes and finally CD to ATRAC via SS.

I cannot believe my eyes when after downloading tracks from CDDB and start to import the CD suddenly SS stopped and show error message - told me i cannot allowed to copy the CD. WTF? WM Player and iTUnes completely ignores that but this SS cannot do the same thing?

I have a slightest memory that i never have this problem with my older copy controlled CDs. But maybe i made mistake.

Sony please give up. The only way to prevent unauthorized music copy and distribution is to lower the price of those original CDs!

As a turnaround i using my WAV files to import to SS, get the track from the CDDB again, and archive it intact. Conversion only happened when i transfer to the device (make ATRAC CD or to Aura).

Any suggestion? Can i disabled copy controlled check in SS?

No ,its not possible to disable Copy control check .SS will not allow you to copy Copy controlled cd's .

nope. And as you already said, the only way to do it is to rip the CD wo WAV with other program first (eg. EAC), and then convert it with SS.
