I own a Sony camcorder model DCR-TRV510. It worked great for years however recently the video no longer works on the LCD display. The sound functions normall. The LCD display lights up but with no image in either record or playback mode. When using the eyecup the camcorders performs perfectly. I have contacted Sony. they suggested a reset which I tried to no avail. I fully charged the battery, and replaced the lithium battery iwth a new one. Still no luck. Minimum charge to repair has a flat rate of $311 and does not include any replacement video components. Prior to going this route - or make a move for a new unit I want to reach out to anyone who might have a solution.
