Guest Stuge
Get-Well Gamers Foundation, a California-based public charity which provides video games to children's hospitals, recently announced that it has received $5000 worth of donations from Sony... about 200 games in all.Ryan Sharpe, president of the foundation, states (somewhat gratuitously) that "We are deeply grateful to the Sony Corporation for its wonderful generosity, especially with the holiday season upon us. It is the kindness of such acts that sustains an organization such as ours and truly saves the day for the children we serve."The donation comes at a good time: Get-Well Gamers recently expanded to include 41 care facilities in 26 states. We at GAF wish them the best of luck in helping children get through their rough times. As for Sony, it's nice to hear a bit of good news for a company that's been maligned in the gaming media lately.Cheers all around.GamesforFun
