Question

Hey, not been here for a while. I have a reason, I found a brand new green iPod Mini 6GB (my all-time favourite) on eBay...rare as hell!

I also sent my two walkmans to Sony Central Service in the UK in their boxes taped firmly together and somehow they lost the 1000 and found the 3000 after I was given the wrong address as well. In total, they have had my NWA-3000 for 3 months, that's a quarter of the time I've owned it.

My impression of Sony has gone from GREAT to SOME OK-ISH PRODUCTS THAT COME WITH CRAP SERVICE!

Anyway, I want to know how to stop the 3000 from playing the first track on start-up. I'm sure I've seen this done somewhere on here but I tried searching and couldn't find anything.

I also need a decent way of attaching either the 3000, 1200 (brand new replacement due to Sony's stupidity) or my iPod Mini to the dashboard of my new car when I get it. The iPod's clip can be stuck onto the dashboard but then again it's louder that the walkman when either are volume unlocked (I use Etymotic ER's) so although it would be easier for the iPod to go into the car, it's gonna have to be either the 1200 or the 3000. Any suggestions?

My iPod Mini rules, it's the walkmans that I have that I don't want to be seen with!

Sony have heavily let me down with their services. Send them for repair and they lose one and do nothing with the other. They replace the lost one with a totally different colour dispite me saying time and time again what colour it was!
