Deleting tracks from NW-A3000 and SonicStage in one operation

Question

Hi folks,

I'm a newbie here so apologies if this has already been tackled (although I did search before asking).

Apart from music on my NWA3000 I like to take radio shows and add them into the player using SonicStage. Once I've listened to a show on my player I send it to the trash and when I reconnect to SonicStage it deletes the track from the player but leaves it in SonicStage, is there a way I can get it to also delete the track from SonicStage as well?

TIA for any help.

They may have meant that trashing a song in SonicStage doesn't remove it from the player. I've found this a real pain since I ditched Connect. In Connect, deleting a track from my library would also delete it from my A3000. And editing the track info in my library would change the info on my A3000 too. SonicStage doesn't seem to do either of these things and I wish it would. Am I missing something?

Sorry if I am missing something, but MartyF seemed to be saying that if he trashes track on player then connects to SS the track will be deleted from player (his problem seems to be with SS which I assme he means library)

I can't even manage this. If I trash on players and then connect to SS nothing happens, track stays in SS. Sony told me this was normal with SS.

Totally agree its all a pain. I also have a lot fo radio stuff and I would like to delete on player and get rid of ell traces.

Hi all, and thanks for the replies sofar.

Robincosa is right. If I send a track to the trash on the NWA3000, it is deleted from the NWA3000 when I connect it up to SonicStage and sync, but I'd really like it to delete the track from the SonicStage library also (once I've listened to a show I want to delete it altogether from both the library and the player in one step).

It sounds like this isn't going to happen!

At the moment I'm experimenting with adding the tracks to a playlist instead of sending them to the trashcan, I can then use the playlist to select the tracks in the library and delete them in one go, which isn't ideal but I guess I'll have to live with it.
