Hey, people!

My Sony NWWM MEM AAD2 (1 gb) was on a format that I don't quite remember now...

Uh.. I remember that it wasn't FAT or FAT32

Anyway.. I tried to reformat it to do something and it didn't work for this other thing either

But, the deal is that I take the music files, put in the device and when I disconnect it from the USB and try to turn it on, it displays "FORMAT ERROR!" and does nothing more -.-

Also, I tried to reformat it with the HP USB Format tool and it said "Device media is write-protected"

What do I do?

No help from the fanboys?

Try using Sonicstage to initialize the player. Never format the player under windows explorer or any formatting utility.

Also, you have to use Sonicstage to transfer music to be playable on sony Network Walkman. you cannot just drag-n-drop.
