Ishiyoshi
Please review the following paragraph from our SonicStage Software FAQ:★ Device Detection Issue - WALKMAN device not detected by SonicStage CP, although it is detected by the computer.Ensure that the WALKMAN device in question was not formatted via the computer; rather a format should be conducted via the software or the menu of the WALKMAN. If your WALKMAN was formatted with Windows Explorer it will not be detected by SonicStage. To resolve the device detection issue try the following: you will need to initialize the WALKMAN. To do so, please refer to the user manual of your WALKMAN.or ensure that you are not employing a USB hub. If so, please try and connect your Walkman to another USB port.or Restart in 'SAFE Mode', press 'start' --> press 'run' --> type 'regedit' and press enter --> locate: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\sptd --> set start value of DWORD to 4 (disable, set to 0 to enable it again) --> restart PCNote: Method 3 is especially useful if Deamon tools not working properly – the driver (SPTD) for the virtual CD-ROM resulted in misallocation of drive letters.
