Question

Hi all,

I'm new here and I've already have a couple of questions :)

I'm looking in buying the NW-S207F mp3 player, but I was wondering if I can use the device also as a storage medium? (for example, can I also put documents on the device?)

And can I just put mp3's on it without the use of the sonicstage software?

And a final question, how do you transfer the data? (I mean, is there a build in usb connector, or does it have a bulky cable I will need to have on me all the time when I want to move some data?)

Thanks in advance.

Greetz,

B

Are you talking about the NW-S203F and NW-S205F players? AFAIK, there is no NW-S207F!

As for the players I mentioned, they have a mini USB jack, so you can use a regular USB to mini USB cable to connect these players to your computer and transfer data or charge them. These cables are fairly common, they are also used by MiniDisc units, Sony PSP, digital cameras, card readers, etc.

Yes, these players can be used as flash drives when connected to the PC. For some reason, they don't seem to mount on my Mac though.

I haven't tried putting songs on it outside of SonicStage but I believe someone mentioned that the Void software works with this player..
