Well I'm not completely sure what caused it, but my S705 kept decided to keep switching off on me, as in completely turn itself off. To fix it this meant plugging it into the comp, or reseting it. Even plugging it into the comp was a dangerous business as occasionally it would disconnect itself for no apparent reason....
....but I think *crosses fingers* I've fixed it. The battery was low, and after some playing about its now charging well without disconnecting and all's good.
Until it screams "NO DATABASE" at me, the player itself won't acknowledge it has any music on it, I know its physically in the memory, and sonic stage recognises this, but the player refuses to acknowledge the fact. The functions itself work fine on the player, it just thinks its empty when its not.
Any pointers?
(I'm hesitating from formating it, as it took a long time for me to get everything sorted out the way I liked, are they any other options?)
