The Multi-function cradle for the NW-S706F

Hi there,

I've been using my unit for a number of months now, and I can say that I'm very impressed. There are a few niggles, but that is only because I'm very used to my minidisc MZ-NHF800 with the remote.

I'm very frustrated though as I would love to buy the multi-function cradle (BCR-NWU3) for my unit, but cannot as they don't offer it here in Australia. I also want to buy the CKHNWS700 case for it, but when I compare the price here to overseas, quite frankly it's a bloody rip-off. The US have the cradle for a very good price, but they don't ship overseas. I can't even purchase it and get them to send to a friend as my shipping address doesn't match my the one associated with my visa card (my friend doesn't have a credit card, so yes I've already tried that one).

Why do they make it soooooo hard?

Anyone else had the same problems.

Where have you found that case in the US? I have been looking for ages with no luck, everything is from either Asia or England.

If you mean the hard silicon case - it's available here in the UK from Amazon. It's not cheap though.

Why don't you ask someone here in the UK (like me for example) to buy it and then post it? It would be even more expensive when you add International Signed For costs though. so maybe wouldn't be worth it.

I sold my 706 last week to a girl in Australia and gave her the case for free. She loves it!

The only place I've found it in the US is on the sonystyle website. Admittedly it's out of stock, but I've only been looking at that site for the last 4 days. Maybe keep watching it, or use the website wishlist functionality to get them to tell you when it's available. Here's the link:

Thanks for the offer juli, but I do have friends in the UK who could do that for me, but as you said, it seems more expensive there than it is in the US.

I'm more interested in the multi function cradle. Anyone in the US interested in purchasing it for me (while they still have free shipping), who also has a paypal account so I can pay them for it?????
