Can I buy a period, maybe even a comma? You really got to work on your basic grammar and punctuation dude, I had alot of trouble reading that post.

But anyway the reason the unit is so cheap is probably because it was damaged, so it looks like you will have to seek out another unit.

Chill out mate, this is the internet, not a writing contest.

Nadz, you got your player for 20quid! You can't really complain too much eh? i understand tho, u don't want to spend too much cash on repairs otherwise it's hardly a bargain anymore, but it doesn't sound like anything you'll be easily able to fix yourself, no matter what information you can get off the internet (unless you're actually skilled with dinky little electronics, etc), so really you've got 2 options:

1: send it to Sony for repairs, you may find that even including the 40quid inspection fee youre talking about, this is cheaper than getting a new player. Then again you may not -you do live in the UK I presume where these things tend to be a little hmmm -overpriced(?)...

2: look for another bargain second-hand player on ebay, etc. If you found one for 20 quid before, maybe you will again. Just be prepared for it to break again.

Like they say:

Easy come, easy go.

At least it didn't cost you 200 quid

hey guys thanks for the replies when i actually got the player it was in perfect condition it had scratches in it but nothing really bad any way i have been trying to gt it to work and ive had partial success i formatted it and initialised the hard disk the player seems only to work perfectly when the screen is pressed just below the buttons im thinkin maybe a loose wire anyway as a temporary fix i folded and placed a piece of paper in the place where you have to press the screen down i opened the case and placed the paper there and then put it back together and now it works but im a little worried tht it might be putting pressure on the player and may cause something else 2 break so im using it as a temporary fix im gonna try to reason with my local sony centre (ilford) tht i know the problem and ask them to fix it if not ill just have 2 leave the paper in thjere but hey it works and it was 20 quid! thats a pound per gb thts what u call value for money anyway if any1 has had this problem or knows another kind of fix please reply to this post thank you in advance

Here you go: .................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..................................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,........................ Now all you need to do is distribute these properly and remember that the round little things ("points" they are called, very clever invention) are usually followed by a capital.
