70sgirl Posted July 23, 2007 Report Share Posted July 23, 2007 I have a friend that asked me to help him with his NW-E003f. I've never dealt with ATRAC before, so sorry if I ask something stupid. I have been reading, but still haven't found a solution.A different friend in a different state originally put some music on the sony for him. I tried to copy the songs to my computer, but then found out it won't let me use the files. I can't transfer anything else onto the device for him, since a different computer originally put the tracks there. If I transfer to my computer (even tho I can't play on my computer), then format the device and then transfer the files back to the device, will they work on the device? Any other suggestions?
