Sony A8xx neat tips not listed in user manual

Just discovered this.........

while playing a song; use "back button" and go back to home menu, go to photos and select a photo to display. Photo will eventually dim ( to conserve battery life) and remain displayed. I thought this was nice instead of just having a black screen while music is playing.

Anyone else discovered a neat trick with their Sony A8xx player?

yeah i noticed that too and it is rather cool to have a pic in the back ground than an empty one but it still drains the battery considerably
