Please move this topic if it is on the wrong forum, i couldn't really decide which one to post in...
I have a 20gig NW-HD5 sony player. I'm having a lot of trouble with getting music on or off of it... Im sure its mostly due to me moving around a lot and transferring music onto the player on different computers...
I have just installed Sonic Stage CP 4.3 and when i go to view the music files on my HD player, a message pops up saying that i have music that has been transferred onto the player using an older version of sonic stage (probably 3.1) and i need to remove these files from the player before i can view/play/transfer files on CP 4.3...
So i searched and found HIMD Renderer, installed it so that i could convert and transfer my .oma music on my player to .mp3 on a portable hard drive, i attempted a batch conversion and it then popped up with a message saying:
"ERROR: [1830-3-0]: Failed to connect a Sony OMG/OMA filter. Please make sure you have the latest version of SonicStage and that the file you are trying to convert is playable in SonicStage."
Im guessing its because sonicstage cant play the music because it has been transferred using an older version...?
Im at a loss of what to do, so any help at all would be much appreciated.
