for your information, just some things I noticed whith my new A808:
- The SonicStage and the Image Converter software don't seem to go along with each other too well. If both programs are running in parellel and one is transferring data I experience errors.
- Image Converter Software: Converting and transferring video data at once can cause errors with some material I have. When doing it in two steps, i.e. first converting to hard disk and then transfering the data, I have had no problems so far.
- Image Converter Software: One error I had while transferring content resulted in an MP4 file with a file size of zero byte on the A808. This file couldn't be moved/deleted. Using the DOS utility checkdisk repaired this. I used "chkdsk e: /F", where e: is the drive letter. Save the lost clusters to a file, they can be deleted afterwards.
- Some MP3s I transferred could not be played (wrong format). When I checked the song details in the Atrac window (Sonic Stage), I noticed that the format info (MP3) was missing. Deleting the file and transferring it again has solved this up until now...
