Then I read that Sony's walkmans only recognize ATRAC files so I tried to convert the mp3s in iTunes to ATRAC and to then transfer them to the player. This time I get 転é€?回数ã?Œï¼?ã?Ÿã‚?転é€?ã?™ã‚‹ã?“ã?¨ã?Œã?§ã??ã?¾ã?›ã‚“ (The remaining number of transfers is 0, therefore you cannot transfer the song).
!?!#$!$#!!?
I began to think, oh, okay ... this might be because I happened to have some of these songs sent to me by a friend over MSN.
So I took a legit CD that I purchased (note its JP as well) and ripped it using the SS software and even still! It tells me that I have no transfer rights!
I then tried to convert the ripped files into ATRAC using SS and then it started telling me that the media is recorded in a format unrecognizable to SS. @@
Is there anyone who can help me out here please because I'm really at wits ends and this device is essentially turning out to be a giant waste of money as I can't even put one song on it. =/
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Edit: I'm running Windows VISTA and I have the latest version of SS 4.3 installed. I'm not necessarily looking for a solution to allow specifically SS to transfer songs to the player; if there are alternative softwares that can work, I'm all for it!

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and have been reading up on the various posts trying to figure out a solution on my own but alas, I am unable to do so.
I bought a NW-S203F in Japan a few months back and have only just got around to trying to load it up with music.
HOWEVER, I cannot for the life of my get SonicStage to allow me to transfer any songs whatsoever to the player!
At first I would get messages saying that 転る権利りん (Don't have the rights to transfer) and I read up that this is because SS is attempting to compete against iTunes and ffdshow over some stuff and that the codec is interfering and that I should uninstall or disable it. I did - still no go.
Then I read that Sony's walkmans only recognize ATRAC files so I tried to convert the mp3s in iTunes to ATRAC and to then transfer them to the player.
