Hey there. Well I downloaded the SonicStage version that was compatible with Windows Vista (finally), and been having problems ever since.
With Winamp and the 'ml_sony.dll' plugin I could transfer tracks to my NW-A3000 Walkman quickly and easily, but obviously it didn't convert the non-compatible tracks to ATRAC3 first, so imagine my dismay when on the bus on the way to work or college my Walkman popped up with the "Cannot play. Incompatible" error on the songs I transferred to listen to that morning. Also it didn't let me use the rating system, which I use.. a LOT.
So I installed SonicStage. It detected the Walkman fine, and transfers files fine, and converts them fine, and gave me back my rating system.. One problem though. It hates me. Every 15 seconds or so, it stops detecting the player, and says I don't have one connected. Then about 15-20 seconds later, it comes back, only to do the same again. It becomes a race to get my tracks on it in time. The odd thing is though, is that it can happily transfer hundreds of songs in one go, if I get the transfer started before it disappears again.
This only seems to happen since I installed SonicStage.
Here's hoping someone has had a similar problem and can tell me how to resolve it!
