Timw99
I have just installed sonicstage 4.3 on my laptop (i was previously using sonicstage 3.0 on the desktop comp), and im finding it quite slow at importing from cds, but i think it could be because it is a lower spec computer.Suggestions why importing may have slowed and ways that could speed it up:You may have changed the recording quality (write speed) on the import menu to high, which means it will take longer to encode and import. if you put it on normal then it should be faster. You may have started using a different format at a different/higher bit rate. This can change the time it takes to import. Ive heard that lower bit rates take a shorter time to import.Perhaps if you close all other programs when importing it may be faster. You could also make sure that the cd isnt playing in any other programmes or with sonicstage while you are importing.thats all i can think ofHope one of them works
