I Need help with my NWZ-A818

I posted this on another message board and they told me to come here so hopefully someone can help me out. I just got the NWZ-A818 for my bday. The 8 GB version. I am able to put on a little over 2 GB's worth of music before it says memory in device is full. So I click properties to see the memory on it and its full. So I delete everything I put on there and when I clicked properties again it said I was using over 5 GB's of memory. Even though I went through every folder and they were empty. If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using WMP11?

Click Sync > Right Click on Sony Walkman > Set Up Sync > Then Choose what automatically syncs

WMP has the wrong information at least on mine as it duplicates the space left meaning if you synced 2 GB it would say 4GB taken for some reason because files you added is 2GB (2GB if you add it again) dont ask me why it does this

I think you can also format the player in the options from settings. It might help.

I have the same problem as this and have tried LG1's solution, but to no avail. Any further help please? I would point out that I'm pretty green on all this.
