Subarunyon
Okay, I have recently decided that I can't stand ???? in my plalists for japanese songs and installed applocale (without changing anything in regedit). Works like charm, until today.... I decided to cleanup my music and deleted everything in the library. When re-importing (files that were in sonicstage previously!) some files that has non-alphabet characters such as "Santos Suárez.oma" sonicstage goes "the track has unsupported characters". Has anyone else run into this problem and have a way around it? ==; I'm afraid that if I run sonicstage normally again (without applocale) it will reset my japanese tracks to ???? when I use applocale.*edit* nevermind, I decided to re-run normal sonicstage and take the chance. And as I expected, the file was importable. When I used applocale after that, my japanese tracks are still intact XD; this thread can be deleted if necessary. After this experience I realized that Sony reaaaaaaly need to do a better job with their next gen importing programs (if they decide to go back to sonicstage at all) or I might just use with higher bitrate mp3s rather than the superior low bitrate atrac if I have to keep doing this to import files.
