Myxamatosis
In sonicstage when i try to select the files i want to convert to atrac3 using the Tools > Convert Format option, the tab is greyed out no matter which bitrate .mp3 is selected. *edit* I have figured out why this is. The individual files have to be selected in order to use the convert format option. You cannot convert an entire album at once by right clicking the album. On a side note does anyone know if its possible to convert .mp3s into the new atrac lossless format? And would doing this conversion from .mp3 completely remove the small loss when converting .mp3 to atrac? Thanks, Edited January 6, 2008 by Myxamatosis

I select the album, then right-click and select all tracks, and the convert isn't greyed out. That's how I've always done it. . . did you try that way? You can physically convert it - but the only thing you will gain is a larger file. You can't put back what was lost.If you have the original CDs, I suggest you rip them again. . . boring, maybe - but it's the only way.
