NWZ-S515

I don't know if anyone can help me. I have just brought a second hand NWZ-S515 walkman player and sometimes it will not turn on, other times it will turn on just fine. And occasionally when switching on it will say repairing database or repairing mp3 files or something, can't remember really. I is just really intermittent if it will turn on or not?

It is running firmware 1.0, is this the latest firmware for this player, thanks again.

Hi, yes the firmware on my s618F (similar in shape to the S515) is version 1.00, I have found a way of accessing the firmware setting's in terms of the test mode as it can be used to possibly hack the EU volume limit.

Please note it is for the top range NWZ-A82X range walkmans.
