NWD-B100 Series VOLUME LIMIT

Question

I've searched high and low for this, on these forums and the internet in general.

All I can find are hacks for the HD series or others.

The volume is too low, even on very expensive headphones. So I need a method, any method, to disable the volume limit for this player. I've heard there was a way but, as I said, I can't find it.

ANYBODY with ANY advice on the subject (even if it's just to let me know that this is impossible)? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

PS. Exact Model is the NWD-B103

I bought my sister-in-law the NWD-B105 and she complained bitterly about the lack of volume. I did try it myself before I sent it to her, and with those stupid bundled frisbee earphones I had to have the volume on almost full. But with my Denon C700 I was able to set the volume to about 22/30. And with the Sennheiser CX300, around 22 as well. I also tried the earphones that come with the Sony A808 and I had to go almost full volume with them (but they sit at the entrance of the ear canal and therefore don't isolate very well anyway).

I wasn't aware there was a volume limiter on any of the European models after the NWS series came out. Maybe it just has a lower volume???
