NWZ-s618F test mode

Hi,

Is there anyway in unlocking the full volume potential of the NWZ-S618F walkman, because when the volume is on 20, it barely increases untill 30. Also I have found the test mode file for the NWZ-A82XX series (bluetooth walkmans) and this testmode work's on the NWZ-S618F walkman.

But there must be a way to make the NWZ-S618F to Japanese spec as this is much louder than the UK spec, as a friend of mine has the Japanese version.

you have solved a problem for me.

I have been trying to get into test mode for my NWZ-A818, I have followed the instuction in the service manual, but it does not work.

I noticed the picture you posted had a different sequence of keys to get into test mode, and it worked.

The manual that did not work for me is NW-A805.pdf it mentions the NWZ-A818 on ever page.

Your NWZ-A826.pdf manual works, and it`s not even for my NWZ-A818 completely different pictures.

I wonder how many other people have had this problem.

I'm making a mental note to buy everything now from the US or Japan. I won't be buying any more Sony portable products from the UK. I'm not going to risk buying sub-standard equipment, sorry.
